Horsham District Community Transport (HDCT) was set up in April 2013 to meet the requirements of those that need accessible transport because of age, sickness or disability or poverty or lack of availability of adequate and safe public transport. West Sussex County Council (WSCC)and Horsham District Council (HDC) recognised the need for accessible transport in Horsham District and gave their support to the charity.
Residents of Horsham and the surrounding area, who need community transport can register with to use the Dial-a-Ride service to get to an appointment, visit a friend or relative, attend a club or perhaps go shopping. Local community groups can hire our vehicles and drivers for regular or ad hoc trips, please call us for a quote. Self drive hire also available, subject to having the correct licence.
All our minibuses have tail lifts and are adapted for wheelchair users. If you find it difficult to get on or off the minibus the driver will be pleased to let you use the tail lift.
