Our Dial – A – Ride service is designed to help people gain access to transport to get to where they need to be. You are entitled to our services if you are elderly, disabled or if there is a lack of safe or adequate public transport services in your area. Dial – A – Ride will pick you up from your door in a wheelchair accessible minibus, with a trained driver who can help you get from A to B as smoothly as possible. We can take you to the local shops, any medical appointments, to see your friends or family, or to any local clubs/groups or activities.
To access this service you must register as a member with us. Please visit the ‘Register’ page to find the form which you can either email or post to your local depot. All of your information will be kept in accordance with Data Protection and will only be used for the purpose of Dial – A – Ride. After you have registered and paid the fee you can then book your first journey. The fare will be given to you when you book as this can vary depending on locations.
Please be aware that if you cancel a booking less than 24 hours in advance there may be a cancellation charge. This is at the discretion of the depot manager. As we are in high demand we book trips on a first come, first served basis. Any trip must be booked at least 24 hours in advance but we cannot take bookings more than a week prior to the booking, with the exception of medical appointments which can be made up to 2 weeks in advance.
